About AETO and Structure of Pupillage
Pupils will be expected in their first six months to spend time with their supervisors and other members of Chambers in court, as well as receive training in written work and case preparation. In their second six months, pupils will be expected to attend court hearings on a daily basis, as well as take on necessary draft work. Pupils will be expected to travel to courts across London, as well as outside of London i.e. south and north of the country.
Equality Diversity and Inclusion
We are committed to equal opportunities and diversity amongst our members and pupils. We therefore encourage applications from women, people of ethnic origin, people with disabilities and those who are LGBTQIA+, as well as candidates from other groups which are underrepresented in the legal sector.
We are happy to make reasonable adjustments to enable candidates with disabilities to demonstrate their abilities.
How to Apply
Applications must be made following the instructions on Chambers' website. The selected candidates will be asked to attend an initial interview and those who are successful will be invited back for a second round, which will incorporate practical elements.
